Interview
The in‑person interview is a face‑to‑face meeting used to assess a candidate’s skills, experience, and fit for the role. During this stage, the hiring team asks structured questions, reviews key job expectations, and evaluates communication, professionalism, and overall suitability. Candidates can also ask questions about the position.
This interview typically lasts 30–60 minutes and helps determine whether the candidate should move forward to the final hiring steps, such as reference checks or job offers.

Reference Check
A reference check is the final verification step in the hiring process. It involves contacting the candidate’s previous supervisors or professional references to confirm employment history, assess job performance, and gather insight into their work habits and reliability.
During the reference check, the recruiter asks structured questions about the candidate’s strengths, areas for development, attendance, teamwork, communication, and overall suitability for the role. This helps ensure that hiring decisions are accurate, fair, and based on validated information.
